What can I tell ya. Thats' all I see both getting.
Koivu is still the #1 center in Minny and has been for years.
Kadri has had ONE season of 50 points on the nose and none higher than that. I dont know why you think he'll exceed that now, especially with Matthews coming in and eventually pushing him down the depth chart to 2C at best.

I dont give estimates of the "best case scenario's" because those rarely happen. My estimates are realistic numbers I see the guys getting. I have no issues if you don't agree with me but that's all I am expecting from either guy.

Kadri also had a very solid lockout year.
That being said, I do agree with Axe's numbers.

TBH I agree with Axe's numbers but I would bet on Khadri exceeding them before Koivu (that's if either do)

Kadri had 44 in 48 games in lockout year. Had these been the first 48 games of season, even if you assume a big correction and reversion to 0.6 ppg in the remaining 34 games, that's a 64-point season. I don't see how you can state he's never done better than a 50-pt season when, really, he did that in a walk during a shortened year that still involved a very significant sample size. I'm not saying he'll exceed 60 but i wouldn't be shocked, depending on how he's used. He has some amazing moves.

Yep I expect Kadri to step up and try to be a leader this year, especially with Matthews there(and Babcock working with him). I'll say 60+(with a low of 55-59).

Kadri will be covered in Cage Match this week, so stay tuned.......
Any guesses on the opponent (note - not Staal)?

Kadri had 1 goal on his first 120 shots last year (rough estimate) He was snake bitten worse than E. Kane. Easily his highest shot total of his career. Babcock had him focusing mainly on his two way game to make him a complete 2-way player. Lots of adjustments to his style of play.
I'll take Kadri, with legit line mates this year and he should see a serious bump in production; whereas I have little faith Minn is going to breathe any life into stagnant Staal. He looks much older and slower than his age. If Staal hits 40pts. That's a good year for him.
Higher skilled linemates, year 2 in Babcock's system, sprinkle in some maturity and I also like him for over 55 this year.

What distance was his shots at though?
