30 hours later and we still have no clear answer. Rizzee, this is your chance to cage match them.

I looked back at the Scheifele one (vs. Draisaitl - that he lost btw) and it was interesting to note that he is so bad on FO. It's not the biggest of knocks on him, but still one that could hinder his upside.

I did Scheifele in March, and other than maybe a couple of very usual circumstances I've not gone back to cover the same guy twice within a 12 month period. But Johansen is on my list for the fall - I just need to get the right match-up.

I think this one comes down to potential vs proven. Johansen has shown what to expect from him. Scheifele has definitely flashed, and looks poised to hit his upside sooner rather than later; but I'd still be hesitant to guarantee him being a better own than Johansen. I'd say safe bet: Johansen, upside (including ability to hit it): Scheifele.

I'd pick Johansen....for the short term, it's a contract year. I think he needed out of Columbus and playing with P.K. should be a huge bonus.

I like Scheifele better because I didn't appreciate RyJo's pouting and lazy play last year when things didn't go his way. BUT, if he's found his happy place and can start scoring goals like he did a couple of seasons ago, he's a stud in this low scoring NHL era. I also think we have only scratched the surface with Scheif... just look at his #s while Little was out 2nd half last year... they were amazing. Question is how they roll out Little and if Little is healthy enough to keep the top centerman spot for this and next year. I think it makes sense to foster that 2nd half explosion and let Scheif run this team. I see the Peg as the team to beat beginning as soon as 2017-2018 (when Helly takes over for good).

It is now 19-19... I voted for Scheifele.
I can't stand watching RyJo play... he's on my "don't like him list".
Oozes with talent, but no real desire.
I feel like he's gonna disappear for a month every season.

I actually like it when players like Johansen are on someone's "do not like" list. Buy low!

I'm with you on that. Especially when it's a player I like

Another vote for Johansen, but gotta admit his tendency to disappear for stretches during the season is annoying
