You are defending your title. This is clearly not your own pick.

Do you have your own first rounder still?
    Any other high second rounders?
Was the team mostly the same?

I'd take Marner/Pulj at 4, because this team looks like a VERY serious contender right now, and that would be a nice step up to keep it going.

If I'm in in it to win it I take Radulov.... Even IF Marner sticks that Leafs team isn't transforming iver night where all the forwards are 50-60 point guys (and I see Rads exceeding that). If you aren't in it to win it and in in the long haul I think Marner is the pick (as his hype will only improve season after season) as Radulov is the wrong side of 30 so any re sale value diminishes

That's right, I acquired this 1st round pick last year in a 3-way trade.
I also have pick #9 (acquired 2 years ago from a then contending GM), and my own 1st round and my own 3rd round.

    So I have picks: 4, 9, 11 and 33.

You describe my situation perfectly: my team is strong and will definately be top 3 barring injuries. The other 2 GMs that I project to be top 3 don't have picks in the first 2 rounds, and have declining teams...so this adds to my comfort level and I think I want to keep a good thing and grab blue chip prospect. If I did get Radulov, it's risky, it's shortterm, it only a slight edge for this year/maybe next year, and he ecomes my oldest player.

I'm also trying to explore moving up to 2 to get Laine. I would have to give pick #4 (Marner/Pulj) and likely another 1st round pick and/or a good forward.

I'd go radulov if your going for it .
getting marner and hoping he does well would probably land you a better trade if you could go that route.

Where did I say MaxPac is garbage? He's a great player. I think his absolute upside is 70-75, which is awesome in today's NHL. I think Radulov's absolute upside is much higher, though we've been down that road!

It's not "what you said" it's "how you said it".

But seriously... Radulov is the next PPG player?

    Oooooooooooookay!

I don't believe it. And I do believe that Pac Man is and will continue to be a better fantasy asset. But hey... That's just me.
