I'm leaning toward rejecting but wanted to get some thoughts. He also has Husso in his farm, if anything I'm thinking I'd want Husso over Hutton but even then I'm not convinced. Thoughts?

In a vacuum, that would be a great deal for you as Ekblad contributes across the board. Husso would definitely be a better get than Hutton as I think Husso is more likely to become the starting goalie in St Louis than Carter if Allen gets hurt.
However, your goalies are not very good so unless you can find a deal for another starting goalie, I would not make the deal. Starting a year in a 14 team, 2G league with 3 back up goalies is not a great place to be.

I agree with your rejection. In a 14 team, 2G league, you need the goaltending. Let him knock your socks off or it's probably no deal.

Looking at your roster, I prefer Allen more than Ekblad, especially in a start 2G league.
