I think Cowen will get a deal somewhere, depending on how this whole arbitration thing goes, and will play in the league somewhere. That being said, I'd still keep Streit over Cowen.

Cowen will get picked up once the season is underway, and the injuries start to accumulate.
Either way, I'd keep Streit over Cowen.

Cowen is still battling the leafs so they cannot buy him out. So I doubt he plays this year

Word is that the Leafs buyout of Jared Cowen is being disputed due to a continuing injury. That's why there's some confusion.

I think Cowen is DONEZO. probably will not play in the NHL again.
So Nope I'd take any other D in a active roster then him.
He's hips are to broken to play in the NHL...so young... Oh well.
P.S. Provorov might push old man Streit out next season (doesn't seem like it, but its a possibility)
