Green-Beckham certainly will have a chance to start with the Eagles. With Jordan Matthews in the slot, Philadelphia needs help at outside receiver as Nelson Agholor has yet to prove he's an NFL starter while Rueben Randle has been inconsistent and questioned for a lack of effort in the past.
Tennessee wanted to part ways with Green-Beckham as soon as possible. According to NFL Network's Charles Robinson, Green-Beckham showed up to camp out of shape and was not in favor of the Titans offseason workout demands.
#Titans are upset w/ how Green-Beckham responded to demands. Told to work harder in offseason, came in out of shape. Didn't improve. #Eagles

There is a "fit" aspect to #Titans bailing on Green-Beckham. The players who work hard fit the program. They wanted more from him. #Eagles

The Eagles were willing to take the gamble on a 23-year old receiver that ran a 4.49 40-yard dash at the combine and is 6'5", 234-pounds
