Not sure if it's sarcasm but if it's not... who cares about his Harvard degree ? This is hockey related.

Little known fact : Once you gain into Harvard you can return at anytime to finish your degree (e.g: Louis Leblanc). If he was interested in becoming the best hockey player possible, he would have left Harvard a lot earlier.

Not sarcastic. Life is about more than hockey, even to hockey players. This has worked out EXACTLY as he wanted it to...He got to go to Harvard, get a degree, a hobey baker award, and now...choose his destination. The final year of Harvard was probably more about his desire to choose where he wants to play than anything else. The degree and Hobey baker award are just a couple of nice bonuses.

I'm sure Smashville fans would have preferred he turn pro earlier because that would have meant that he could turn pro with only one team.

Oh I know, but we're here because we only care about their production in hockey (this is a fantasy hockey forum). In that regard, he didn't get the best development path by playing four years in the NCAA. That's it. I'm a PK Subban fan not a Predators fan. I'm not bitter about Vesey at all.

I also think Vesey is so overhyped right now it's not even funny. His production at 23 year old in the NCAA is not impressive at all.

Yeah. Schultz had crazy/amazing numbers in the AHL also. We'll see about Vesey. Best bet is he becomes a third line player IMO.

I'm with you guys on Vesey.

In terms of pure points upside, Keller has a decent edge on Connor... the only question is timing. Connor has a shot at the NHL this fall, whereas Keller is a solid 2 years from that. You're probably better off taking Connor and flipping him once he produces for Keller +.

I have a sinking suspicion that Keller goes one and done in the NCAA. Chayka and the gang are going to be all about infusing speed, skill and possession. Keller has those in spades.

I know he's smallish but I could see him putting up monster numbers at Boston this year and moving on.
