    Do you project Kopitar as a 200+ point forward because it's looking like that's the rate he's going to have to produce at to offset all the offense you are trading away. Carey Price will offset some of that but when you consider that you have the 3 WPG G's who are going to get all the starts in some combination the difference won't be that great.

    Then it doesn't matter if it's not going to happen - all that matters is all interested parties are on the same page. Is this a random three-manager deal that you just came up with, or have there been discussions with the other managers on a potential deal? Do the other managers have a plan in mind to help achieve this?

    I would say yes, you are giving up too much. Who are you going to be able to insert into your lineup to replace all the players you are getting rid of? That plays a huge role. When you are giving up 4 skaters and only getting 1 back.

    I know how this is going to end Stuntman. You trade away all the pieces that other teams desire and will be left with a middling team that lacks the assets (liquid) that other teams want to trade for.

    Rask and Kopitar -for- Helly and Drouin.

    Sounds good on paper until you try to move Kopitar and Rask only to find the number of other managers that want those two are far less than the number of GMs that want Helly and Drouin.

    stuntman this thread or any other trade thread you've posted boils down to this;

    What kind of a fantasy hockey GM doe you see yourself as:

    1)In it to compete to win(not necessarily at all costs, but within the context that ultimately this is a pastime and for only a select few would it be one of the ways they make a living) for a cyber trophy and to be able to say you won

    2)strictly for the enjoyment of it(you are in a money league so you do seek a little financial reward)

    After that you need to decide what accomplishes either of those goals for you.

    1)Are you someone who likes to trade for the sake of trading(I don't see it, you don't trade much, lolololololololololololololololol with little regard for who comes and goes other than talking trade-or with the desire to own a few specific players and not worrying where your team finishes in the standings.

    2)Do you analyze your team(s). determine their strengths and weaknesses and set out in a methodical step by step fashion to fill those holes to make your team better.

    3)do you like to undertake team rebuilds and much like #2 determine a set course to accomplish that goal and start working towards it.

    No wrong answer here stuntman and all joking with you aside the only person you answer to at the end of the day is yourself, the advice you get here is neither right or wrong, it's a person's opinion and you use it as you see fit.

    Bottom line if you want to make a trade and then make based on the criteria that best fits who you are in the fantasy game and don't worry about what clan dobber has to say about. Taking into account that none of this is life or death if you click accept on a trade are you ok with it.

    Good luck, bud.

    Alright, that being said IMO, you are strongest at C eligible players assuming those designations remain as is. You are weakest on D overall I believe based on who your starting 6 would be. G may be a strength based mostly on having all the handcuffs for 2 teams. LW/RW are about equal, without flipping back to look, favoring the left side a little.

    I would decide if it were my team exactly who I feel I might want to put OTB from my roster that is good enough but who I can live with parting with that will garner me a stud D and an upgrade to one of my wings. Maybe you do need to trade 3 or 4 or 5 players to get a couple of players that really upgrade you but at least there is a purpose there.

    Look over every single teams roster and look for a team strong on D, I don't think you win with that D, maybe regardless of what your offense does and by all means ask for advice but make deals that make sense for you.
