Fitz was by far the best QB available, Jets had no other outside options, Foles would have been a cheaper option if the Jets wanted to go another route.
But yes I rather Fitz than Foles for the Jets.

Fitz with Decker, Marshall, and check-down-Forte will work well with Fitz (2 of the 3 had great yrs last yr). Fitz is a safe thrower, and if the Jets wanna win with D, he’s a good fit.

Which means he would help them win more games, hence why I would rather see Foles under centre.
Fitz is a safe thrower. I agree. But then the Jets start to trail and Pickmagic comes to life. Oh I how I loathe thee. He always finds a way to implode when it matters most. Maybe I do prefer him under centre
