It's pretty rare I'd think for more than 1-2 or so guys to actually last but I think this year is a bit of an outlier

As juoko posted above I forgot sergachev. I think he has a good chance to stick and if put him in between the two lists I had

Not sure about Cychrun. He's a manchild sure but that Coyotes defense is looking pretty set now.

Good chance relative to other 2016 draftees. Looking over the names in the 1st round he stood out to me. Some have said he could make the jump, but who knows. Should have said that the top 4 are highly likely to start in the NHL, maybe a bit less for PLD than the others, and then the other 2 I mentioned might have the best chance out of the rest. And I probably should have put Juolevi in that column too as he is the top dman and Vancouver could use him as they're focussed on winning(?!?) right now.

Sergachev has something like 5% chance of starting in the NHL next season IMO.

Montreal has Markov,Beaulieu,Barberio and Bartley all on NHL contracts IIRC. Makes no sense for them to loose a year of ELC to make Sergachev play 3rd pair minutes, but they traded Subban for Weber so making no sense is what the Habs seem to be headed for

I agree. On the left side he's behind Markov, Beaulieu and Emelin at the moment.

I'd love to see him come up and get mentored by Markov but that probably won't happen until 17-18 season, unless one of those guys gets hurt. He's been a beast in the development camp with a hat trick and standing up to McCarron. Not bad for the youngest guy there.
