Any links/info/ranks/recommendations as to the top backup goaltenders from a fantasy perspective after the fallout of the draft and free agency?

I own Montoya. Debating targeting Hutton(free agent in my league). As a Holtby owner, I might try to trade for Grubaeur. Bernier is being shopped in my league as well. Any advice would be appreciated.

Depending on cost then Bernoer won't be bad. For me in no particular order I would be looking at -

Johnson - Elliott WILL et injured and Johnson could run with that behind a pretty good d
Pickard - already shown he can compete and with the pressure that will be on Roy (you'd think) he will ride the hot hand
Reimer - will potentially start the season as the starter so with that does he make it easy on Luongo to step back in
Greiss/Halak - depends who your league view as the starter. I think this is a genuine 1a and 1b now and boyh should offer value
Neuvirth - shown he can run with it but also an injury risk of his own
Hutton - Allen has been given the reins but is almost guaranteed to miss some time
Htchinson - everyone is concentrating on Pavelec and Helly - key here is Pavelec will falter but can Hutchinson take advantage?

I don't like Bernier in my league because it's a salary cap league and he is under contract through next year 2016-17 and is a UFA.

The owner of Grubaeur in my league is willing to trade for picks/prospects. Any suggestion on Grubaeur's value and what I might trade based on signature?

Forsling or a goalie not named Saros would be top of my list being furthest away - has he given you any ind Cation what prospect he is eyeing?

No. Open ended. He just said he needed prospects/picks. Don't want to start too high

I have mentioned this before, but I think Calvin Pickard is in line for a big step forward in his progression, and due to the expansion draft, he may even be given the chance to take over for Seymon Varlamov and his much bigger contract. I would target Pickard.

    D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen
    G: Vasilevskiy

Totally agree.... His stats are pretty impressive even though it is a small sample size he has done it every time he has been called on

Pickard, Reimer, Hutton, Johnson and Greiss are my top pf the backups not named Vas/Murray.

Hutton is FA in my league. Guess I will throw a bid in on him. Recommendations on bid term? I'm thinking 2 years to mimick NHL contract and current situation? Longer? Shorter?

if you have first refusal on resigning him then I would do a one year deal 'just in case'

Unfortunately he would become a UFA for all to bid on after term/contract. There is an option to extend him one year at current salary. Might do one year and then extension.

Won Hutton in Free Agency bid. No one else bid on him. 1 year @ $450,000. League minimum. I'll take that! Thanks all for the insight and advice.

And with Allen in front of him that becomes a boom or nothing as no bust possible!
