TSN is trying to become the new HockeyBuzz or what? Can tell they are desperate now.
Maybe not so much rumours as speculation, but regardless, an interesting and realistic read here regarding the Oilers, Jackets and Ducks.

Oilers partnering with the Sabres makes some sense as they've presented it. Oilers drop back from 4th to 8th and potentially pick up a defenseman in the deal (although not a top-4 pairing) and also get to draft a defenseman at 8. I do agree they are running out of options.
The Bluejackets rumour doesn't necessarily tell us anything we didn't already know, but adds some salary dump names from their roster to make space for a potential deal.
In Anaheim we already knew they would likely need to get rid of Andersen or Gibson, but Murray acknowledging the issue is a big step towards a potential move. Sounds like he would be looking to acquire assets he wouldn't have to protect, likely draft picks and/or prospects.

Sharks just acquired Maxim Letunov from Coyotes for 2016 4th (120) and 2017 3rd.
Yotes also send 2017 6th, I believe.

NOPE. Fleecing by the Sharks. Letunov is a REAL DEAL prospect that everyone in the hockey community should know about. He's lanky and his game away from the puck needs work, but he's got hella skills / speed. I mean, the kid led his NCAA team in scoring as a rookie transplant, and went over point-per-game as a lanky kid. Deceptively strong, but needs to bulk up and use it more. He could be dominant someday. Couple years.

Zona just got Letunov a year or so ago.
From STL for a Zibby Michalek rental and a 2015 conditional 3rd.
This article once stated that Maxim was 155 lbs...

Maybe Chakya beat him in a pull-up competition?
Good to know the new ARI GM can make a deal though...
Fun to watch the new guy talk (bit rehearsed, but not bad - says the right things, sounds a lot like a good GM or head coach):

He has consistency issues. Doesn’t try all the time. He’s able to play a 200ft game, but just chooses not to some times. That’s his biggest flaw.

Pysyk is more of what the Oilers already have; bottom pairing Dman. Moving back from 4th to 8th is a move that only makes sense for the Oilers if they are improving their team. I dont see them needing any of Ennis, Girgensons or Pysyk in order to help make their team better.
Sure I think they make sense as trade partners due to the Sabres overload on right-handed Dmen, but the Oilers arent going to give them the 4th overall and take on that type of return to do it.
The Oilers already have a Mark Pysyk in Eric Gryba.

Well, if he gained 15-ish lbs in the past year, that's very encouraging.

IN all likelihood, if the Oilers trade down from #4 they're going to attain draft picks for the transfer. There just isn't a market for getting an impact player to move down 4-6 draft slots.

I'm 6'4"..and was 170lbs in grade 12. And I was a RAIL. I see old photos and just shudder. Mind you, I was burning tons of calories playing sports non-stop. Now, ya know, I'm 240. But that's neither here nor there.
The point I'm trying to make. I was 170 at 18years and I had never worked out or anything. Once I started working out and growing up, the weight came quicker and I stabilized at around 195-200 when I was mid-20s, still playing a lot of sports (obviously not at an NHL level). But to be that tall and thin at 20years and have been working out, trying to add weight, etc..that makes me wonder if he'll always be a rail.
