But now Bryz wants back in, as he told Chris Lomon of NHLPA.com.
“I feel the passion inside and the fire in my eyes. I want to face new challenges and I want the chance to play in the best league.”
“When I told my son I was looking to play in the NHL again, his eyes lit up,” said the 35-year-old, who is currently an unrestricted free agent. “He was so excited. Now he’s older and he understands the game more. It would be great if he could watch me play again, maybe to learn some things that can help him.”

I cant see there being any sort of interest at all. It's definitely a buyers market on goalies these days, and Bryz is too eccentric/old/diminished/erratic to be relevant in the league. Best I can see is him getting a PTO in the fall, and in the unlikely circumstance that he impresses.....a low, low contract, some show-me time in the AHL, and a back-up job somewhere if that works out alright.
Seriously......too many better options out there getting pushed aside every year, for any GM to ignore and see any opportunity here.

The title could have also been ''Bass56 eyes NHL return''. I'm pretty sure both end results will be the same...

I don't think any NHL GM is dumb enough to sign him - unless it is for cheap and only to expose him for expansion.

Apparently this is really going to happen. The agent claims there are a half-dozen teams interested.
Here's why he may be right: "Money shouldn’t be an issue, though, as Bryzgalov continues to earn $1.64 million annually following a buyout by the Philadelphia Flyers. Those payments will continue for the next 11 years."

Well Anaheim could be in the market for another goalie after today...
