Fun stuff. I work very close to this! The city was working on putting in a new subway system around the area, so it's most definitely related to that. Engineers...sometimes things work out, sometimes not.

I'm a couple courses shy of finishing my undergraduate degree in civil engineering, and I have to say from experience, you have no idea how accurate this statement is.
