That's sort of what I was thinking too but I'll have to include ++ with Murray to get either of the top 2 picks...is it worth it?
++ would be something like a 10-12th prospects pick next year and krejci or bjugstad

I wouldn't add ++ given the strength of your forwards.Also, Rinne hasn't been a real stud for much of the past 4 seasons and Miller is no hot shot anymore so I'd want to keep the strong young goalie myself.
Of course it should matter what the ++ is but I just don't see it mattering much which how good your team currently looks.

Keep Murray, move Rinne.
I feel like Murray's stock is going up, even if it takes another year. Rinne's stock will stay at par or go down. As great defensively as NSH is, there is no denying they have been moving towards being more of an offensive team.
Sell him when hes still looking great from his playoff performance.

The problem with moving Rinne is that I want to win another championship and I will need him to do so.
I'm dangling Murray to see what F I could acquire which most likely looks to be Matthews at this point. I do need a replacement for Rinne in a few years so it may be smarter to just hold onto Murray

Agreed. I wouldn't move Rinne at this point in favor of Murray especially if you're looking to compete again next year. It's WAY to early to anoint Murray the #1 Starter for ANY team next year. Rinne is hands down and, if healthy, will likely be your 2nd best tender (has the ability to be great still with his talent and that team) next year.
Back to the original question, I value Murray over 3rd overall... but behind 1 and 2. But may depend on specifics of my league and yours.
