Rasmus Andersson & Andrew Mangiapane

Anyone see these guys play?

Are they nhl material? If so what do they project as ? Top 4 d? Top 6 forward?

I would like some input please and thanks!

They're both ranked about the same in terms of fantasy upside, but if I had to pick one I'd go with Andersson simply because he's the higher pick and will probably be given more of a shot. Mangiapane has great junior numbers but he's not very big. That being said he could still turn out to be a decent scorer one day.

On the flip side, Andersson will probably take longer as a junior dman to get to fantasy-relevance. Mangiapane is going pro so if he's a hit he'll give you something in return sooner.

Mangiapane has great junior numbers but he's not very big. That being said he could still turn out to be a decent scorer one day.

Watching him play, he strong on his feet and doesn't get knocked around too much despite his size. In todays NHL, size doesn't have the same effect as it did in the clutch-and-grab era. I figure with Mangiapane, he's either a second line winger in Calgary or an AHL player. He could change his playing styler but he's doesn't really fill a bottom 6 role.
