Great name. It's going to take a while to get everyone spelling and pronouncing it correctly.

I was just watching the FRA-CAN game and he caught my eye immediately. I imagine that it might take a little bit of time to acclimate himself to the North American game but he certainly has some moves.

I'd draft him in my league, but I'd probably misspell it and end up drafting some soccer player.

Best possible landing spot for Ovy2. I think he'll do very well in NJ. He's 26 so he's here for a roster spot and assuming he sticks will walk right into top pp duties.

Definitely a spot is his to lose. I cannot see an easier path to a pp role than in NJ. Not sure how he looked at development camp but the guys a late bloomer with legit skills and ample opportunity. If things go well he could easily be running the #1 pp.

He has a shot barring any more signings by the Devils which is actually a more likely scenario.

Would he be worth a pickup in my league in signature? My dmen are lacking to say the least. I took a shot at Kempny already. Auvitu is a Free Agent in my league, so if I sign him for the minimum of 450k, and drop him later, there would be a 25% penalty($112,500) for the term of what i sign him.

How many years would you go? I can do 1-5 year contract bid starting at 450k. Penalty if dropped is for term(years) of contract. I can extend contract one year when it expires. I am leaning 1-3 years?

Des that cap hit do much damage? Personally depends how your roster looks like and the potential turn over... If you have room to waste then no reason not to go max term but I'm always cautious in leagues like that

Same thought as me. If the 100K doesn't mean that much, then go 5, but if it means enough to you, then I probably go two years.

i have 7m in cap space atm with team in signature. Next year, my only worries are Johansen/Zibanejad/Pastrnak being RFA. Hanzal/King/Desjardins/Montoya/Hutton/Doan/Wideman are all UFA and Gelinas/Wiercioch/Schultz are RFA and if i do not resign/retain, i free up about 11m more there. I think i will take a run at Auvitu for 5yr@450k and see if i can get him.
