SITE: The League will be done on Fantrax.

LEAGUE: 16 Teams (Decide your own team name)

ACTIVE LINEUPS: The active lineup has a max of 20 players, separated into positions listed below.
4 Centres
4 Right Wingers
4 Left Wingers
6 Defenceman
2 Goalies

There will also be 10 bench positions along with 3 Injured Reserve Spots for a total of 33 players.
You may also carry a max of 7 Entry Level Players (Players with an Entry Level Contract).
Entry Level Players do not count as a roster spot and cannot be used unless they make your final 33 man roster.

SCORING CATEGORIES: 13 Total (Head to Head Matchups – Most Categories is a win)

9 Skaters Categories: Goals, Assists, Points, Special Teams Points, Shots on Goal, Faceoffs Won, Blocks, Takeaways, Hits
4 Goalie Categories: Wins, Shutouts, Goals Against Average, Save Percentage

MAIN DYNASTY DRAFT – June 1: The main draft will be a 20 round snake draft. Every player selected must be atleast 23 years of age or older at the end of the 2016 year. There will be a live lottery for this draft. If you pick first in this draft, you will pick last in the rookie draft as well as the entry draft....and vice versa.

ROOKIE DRAFT – July 1: The Rookie draft will be a 10 round snake draft. Every player selected must be under the age of 23 at the end of the 2016 year. You may not draft a player that has not been drafted into the NHL yet.

ANNUAL ENTRY DRAFT – August 1: The Annual Entry Draft will always be held 1 week after the real NHL Entry Draft. It will be 3 rounds. The Lottery for the draft will be held 1 week after the real NHL Draft Lottery. This draft is only for players that have not played a game in the NHL yet.

ENTRY DRAFT CONTRACTS: Every player drafted from the Entry Draft will receive an Entry Level Clause (3 year contract).
Their salary will be based on when they were drafted.
1-3: 2M
4-6: 1.75M
7-9: 1.5M
10-12: 1.25M
13-16: 1M
2^nd Round Picks: 0.75M
3^rd Round Picks: 0.5M
A player with an Entry Level Clause will not count against the cap or as a roster spot until he has been called up. After the entry level clause has finished, the player is treated as a Rookie and will not become a free agent unless the owner decides not to resign him.

RESIGNINGS: After the first year, players will be given a determined salary based on their Fantrax Score Rank.
The owner may accept the salary to keep the player or decline it and let him go to free agency. If the owner chooses to keep the player, they must choose for how many years up to a maximum of 5 years.
Owners may sign a maximum of 10 players in the first offseason. Players under the age of 23 (Rookies) do not count against the max. You may keep an unlimited amount of Rookies. The deadline for resigning all players is July 1 at 12:00am (ET).

SALARY CAP: The Salary Cap will be the real NHL cap x1.5. There will be no salaries for the first year of course.

UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENCY: Once a player enters free agency, any team may bid on the player as long as their bid does not put them over the cap. Each bid must be made as the total of the contract.
For example: 35m over 5 years. Each subsequent bid must be atleast 1M higher than the last. If a bid is not beaten after 24 hours then that bid wins the player. Every Free Agent starts at 1M.

RESTRICTED FREE AGENCY: If a player under the age of 26 becomes a free agent, he will become a restricted free agent. Restricted Free Agents are bid on just like Unrestricted Free Agents. The only difference is, the team that owns the player may match any offer (even If it puts them over the cap). If a bid is not beaten or matched after 24 hours then that bid wins the player.

BUYOUTS: Any player may be bought out. If a player is bought out, his salary will be divided in half and counted as dead cap. A player that is bought out becomes an Unrestricted Free Agent. The Buyout Deadline is September 1 at 12:00am (ET).

WAIVERS: Any player that is waived, has 48 hours to be claimed.
If claimed: The team that claims the player will also take on the players salary.
If unclaimed: The player will be returned to his original team.

RE-WAIVERS: If a player is placed on waivers by the same team for a second time, the 50% rule will apply.
If claimed: The team that placed the player on waivers (as well as the team that claimed him) will share 50% of the salary for 1 year.

If unclaimed: The player will be returned to his original team and cannot be placed on waivers again for the rest of the season. He will also become an inactive player, meaning he cannot be used and his cap hit will become 0 for the rest of the season.

FINAL 33 MAN ROSTERS: Your final 33 man rosters must be submitted by October 1 at 12:00am (ET).

TRADES: Every trade will be upheld initially and reviewed, just to avoid any possible collusion.

TRADE DEADLINE: Because of the way the playoffs work (see below), there will be no trade deadline.
There will be a roster freeze during the playoffs though. This is just to give owners a breather so they can put 100% focus into their playoff lineups. The Roster Freeze will be waived 24 hours after the playoffs finish.

PLAYOFFS: The playoffs will be rotisserie (points based) and will be 4 rounds long.
Each round will have a draft with the Regular Season finish deciding who picks when for each round.
Example: 1^st place picks first and 16^th picks last.
Every team makes the 1^st round of the playoffs.
The top 8 teams from the first round advance to the 2^nd round.
The top 4 teams from the second round advance to the 3^rd round.
The top 2 teams from the third round advance to the Finals.

PLAYOFF DRAFT: The playoff draft will be 10 rounds. This draft will be held the day after the Regular Season Ends. Goalies will not be drafted. Only Skaters.
Your draft seeding will be based on your Regular Season finish.
This is not a snake draft so your Regular Season finish is very important.
