Mikko Koskinen - Nhl Future?
Hy guys, does Koskinen have a future in the Nhl some day or will he stay in the Khl? He put up very respectable numbers last season and is doing ok at the Worlds ( GAA great, Save % not so great).
I could put him in my minors for free. Worth a shot or waste of space?

Could go either way. I doubt it will be next year, and it won't be with the Islanders - they have a couple of great prospects coming up. I'd need to know what a roster space is worth to you before answering for sure

I've been holding him in one of my keepers minors for a few years now, hoping and waiting. LOL!
I agree with Dobber when he says it won't be with the Islanders. They will eventually trade his rights to someone and maybe, if they do that, he might actually come over and play.
I will continue to sit on him and hope. He's played very well in the KHL over the years and was just named the top goalie for their playoffs. I think he's worth holding onto until I hear differently.

With that small of a league, and that few minors spots, I'd have to think there are better options to stash than Koskinen.
My league is a 24 team league with 27 minors spots available so there's quite a few prospects retained.
