Came here with every intention of saying "Hamonic and it ain't even close". After looking at their stats, I've completely switched to "Muzzin and it ain't even close". Wow, I knew Muzzin was good for me this year but I didn't even realize how good. He's not quite elite... yet. But this is his fourth full season coming up so he could even reach another level.

Not trying to put Hamonic down, I think he'll be due for a great season, especially if he ends up somewhere he wants to be. But I don't think he gets to the same level as Muzzin.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

    Thanks.

I am in the early process of trade talks with another GM and these are two of the guys I am looking at as a potential trade acquisition piece.

I'd go with Muzzin. I think he is underrated.

Muzzin with two straight 40-point seasons, 13-14 PPP in each, significantly more SOG and comparable hits and blocks. Hamonic's offense doesn't compete so it's an easy choice for me: Muzzin. I think the only way this becomes closer is if Muzzin loses PP time or Hamonic gains it (or both).

Going back over the past 3-4 season the only thing I can say for Hamonic is that sometimes he's better at Hits and PIMs. Muzzin on the other hand runs away with the scoring and shots categories and is comparable in everything else so JM was an easy vote for me.

These are my thoughts as well. Muzzin is typically pegged as a second option in L.A. with good offensive numbers, but when you look closely at his defensive stats (hits and blocks), you can see how complete he is. I love how he broke 200 SOG last year; very promising going forward!

Hamonic is no slouch, but between the 2, Muzzin is the guy I would target.

Muzzin is a multi-cat star. Even more than Hamonic.

^This. I've had Muzzin the last two seasons in a one-year league and he's been an underrated beast in our multi-cat format. Still shocked at how late I grabbed him.

I'd take Muzzin over Hamonic fairly easily. He often gets overshadowed by Doughty but this guy brings you love across all your categories. Not that Hamonic doesn't but I think he's got too much baggage to deal with in his desire to play elsewhere that could hinder his future play (mainly going to a worse hockey team).

The only way Hamonic wins this, is getting traded to Edmonton as they finally turn the corner with him being the only D on their PP1 on the way to his first of many 55 point seasons.
That being unlikely the case, I easily side with Muzzin as well.
