I would select everyone you have listed over Kessel in a one year league and especially a keeper league.
From today's ramblings,
Here is my short list of wingers, in no particular order, I'd select over Kessel:
Alexander Ovechkin
Jamie Benn
Vladimir Tarasenko
Patrick Kane
Joe Pavelski
Here is the tier I'd place Kessel in right now:
Johnny Gaudreau
Nikita Kucherov
Filip Forsberg
Corey Perry
I would select everyone you have listed over Kessel in a one year league and especially a keeper league.

In what format? What are the categories used?
Not sure about your leagues, but in my fantrax league there are many guys with winger-eligibility that might not have it on yahoo, etc. I'd clearly take the following guys over Kessel:
- Stamkos (C,RW)
- Seguin (C/RW)
- Giroux (C/RW)
- Johansen (C/RW)
...and obviously:
- Burns (D/RW)
- Buff (D/RW)
Heck, in my multi cat format I'd even consider to take Backes (C/RW) before Kessel.

It really does depend on the league, the categories, and what you qualify as a winger. Johansen would be about the same range as Kessel for me (therefore Neal would be too). Yes it may be a bit of a Predators bias, but still pretty similar quality.
As for the Backes comment, if you are bringing him in with the multi-cat discussion, then you have to also have Wayne Simmonds above Kessel (and in my opinion, above Backes, though FW makes it close).

I would add Hall and Voracek to that 2nd tier and have Kessel near the bottom of that same tier. He is still a great player but his ceiling is at a ppg. Might as well list him along with those in that category but bump him to the bottom due to his age/trend over the past few years.

I am giving Kessel a slight pass for this year. Remember Neal struggled with the Pens his first year to. A little different scenario as Neal was a complimentary piece to Malkin but still. I think Kessel bounces back to 70-75 points next year with 30-35 goals which to me puts him right about here assuming points only:
Patrick Kane
Jamie Benn
Alexander Ovechkin
Vladimir Tarasenko
Joe Pavelski
Taylor Hall
Johnny Gaudreau
Blake Wheeler
Phill Kessel
Nikita Kucherov
Jacob Vorachek
Filip Forsberg
Corey Perry
Wheeler was a huge omission IMO. Even if he regresses I still think he`s 65-75.

I'd be taking Kessel over Perry all day.. Perry is a 62-65 point player and has been for the majority of the last 4 seasons. - yes I know, the aberrations were a ppg season and that playoff run last year.
Far more likely to grease out 70+ from Kessel than from Perry IMO.
