I would take this like NOW!!!!!
That might be the cheapest I have seen Karlsson go in a trade!
My Burns and Ghost for his Karlsson. Points only keep 8. 11 teams. G=A=1 except dmen goals =2. PPP=0.5 gwg=1.
I have won the league for the last two seasons and would love to add Karlsson simply for the reason he is much younger. I hate having to give up Ghost but no guarantee he does it again next season...plus it's the price of doing business I think. If I make this deal it would allow me to keep one of leddy ehlers or kriecji.
My other keeper d are Letang Carlson.
We start 9f 5d and 1g
Am I nuts for considering this?

Run to accept it. In limited keepers top end players have extra value, Burns is coming off a career year (AKA sell high) and who knows if Ghost can repeat these numbers with all the young talent incoming on the Flyers blue line.
Give me EK all day here, easy deal.
I also like the deal for you, especially if it means you also get to keep someone like Ehlers (or Krejci. I wouldn't keep Leddy here).

Oh man.. I fear it's too late if you decided to check here first (still a good idea in most cases) but this is a 100% accept... ASAP. I hope you managed to pull this off!
I would definitely take the deal, if this boils down to Burns + Ghost for Karlsson + Ehlers you come out way ahead. Don't get me wrong I really like Burns and Ghost, and with the dman bump for goals Burns is especially valuable but ultimately you are selling very high on both of them to land Karlsson

Deal becomes Karlsson + Ehlers for Burns + Ghost. Definite win there, for next year and years to come.

Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid
No. 2 for goal, 0.5 for ppp, and 1 for gwg =3.5
My initial thoughts are no. But you are right that Burns is getting up there and Karlsson has a bright future for many many years.
Consolidate that value asap and get it done.
Thanks.
So let's look at the last three years of each guy.
2015-16 Burns: 121 fantasy points
2015-16 Karlsson: 114 fantasy points
2014-15 Burns: 91
2014-15 Karlsson: 105
2013-14 Burns: 78.5
2013-14 Karlsson: 110.5
I think it's a lot closer than most are thinking, especially the last two seasons. You should expect both Burns and Karlsson to regress a little bit next year, but not enough to to make it that wide a gap. By comparison, Ghost had 79 fantasy points this past season and Ehlers 43.5 (if forwards also get half the power play points).
For next year, and I'm just spitballing numbers, but Burns at 100 and Ghost at 80 is better than Karlsson at 110 and Ehlers at 60. It'd probably also be a lot easier to replace a forward like Ehlers rather than a dman like Ghost.
I'd rather keep Ghost and Burns.

I took the deal but it morphed slightly. I had to give him my 4th rounder for his 6th. Still I got my guy. I hope this leads to a third straight title.
I love ghost but his last few weeks tells me that he was slightly overachiving when first called up. Good dmen for sure but not yet Klingberg like. IMO
Thanks for the input guys
