I wonder if he'll produce again... He shows flashes.

Depends on scoring and whether it is a cap league etc?

For me I would rather the proven commodity but without knowing the rest of your team etc then it's difficult to make an informed decision

    Stats are:

    G
    A
    Pts
    PP Pts
    Gwg
    +/-
    Pims
    Shots

He's currently my 1st bench D guy, we dress 8, hes my #9 guy but i have Savard and Dumba at 10,11. So i may be able to afford to move him.

Green is going to be OK in Detroit, but not great.
They didn't even have a RH-stick on their blueline to start the year.
That gives him a lock on good PP-time.
But it'll be more of what we saw this year... 15 ESP + 20 PPP = 35pts. He might touch 40... and should stay above 30 (injury-free)... but the upside is NOT there.
He's not a 50pt guy and DET has other guy for peripherals.

There's no denying that he is trending down though... he had just 15 ESP this year... which, IMO, is a massive concern.
I would definitely take Hanifin for him.
I'd probably keep Green over Werenski... don't know enough about ZW yet.

It's going to be difficult for him to improve when Datsyuk and Zetterberg are showing alarming signs of aging. I'd peg him around one point every two games because he'll always get opportunities to produce. So more of the same.

For Hanifin, I would do it ASAP.

Even more difficult with Datsyuk going back to his homeland next season

The best I expect from Green is 40 points, given he will surely miss games in any given season.

I'd take a chance on the new guys and trade him for either one (Hanifin or Werenski)
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Yeah plus the cap hit would prevent them from replacing him.

I agree with grabbing Hanifin for Green. Being able to move Dumba up until Hanifin matures just solidifies it for me.

I would send Green out for either Hanifin or Werenski. I love both of those kids.

If you can get Hanifin for Green right now, it is time to disembark and get something good while you can. Green is a declining player on a declining team. I don't know enough about Werenski to make a definitive call, but I would probably take him as a fallback option with maybe a pick upgrade. We know what Green is and is not at this point.
