    Default Nikita Zadorov

He hasn't really put up much points in the NHL but his AHL this season has been pretty good for a defenseman. Anyone who watches him regularly that can give a good projection on how he'll turn out? His numbers aren't that impressive but Big dmen sometimes need more time (Chara, Burns, Byfuglien)

I'm an AHL off-ice official in San Antonio, so I saw a lot of him this season. He certainly has all the tools - size, skating, shot. The big knock on him is drive. He doesn't play with any fire in his belly. He always looks like he's going through the motions. He gets ok stats despite this, which reflects on his talent, but if he could play with some emotion, he could really be a force. He's down on my list of D prospects until I see that.

LW: Lucic, Tkachuk, Eriksson Ek, Connor
RW: Radulov, Tarasenko, JWilliams, Point, Callahan

It was a lot of the same in the years I watched him in London. He has always had the talent.

The thing you have to remember is not to give up too early on these young Dmen for your fantasy team. You need to be patient.

Very true. I'm not saying I've given up on him, just that I've got others ranked in front of him until I see him improve in that area.

I agree it's way too early to give up on Zadorov but in fantasy hockey time matters. If the wait is too long then it's not worth it as an owner.
