Default FA's available. Thoughts on who'd you prefer?

Can you guys help me pick from the FA pool?

Might drop Bjugstad or K. Hayes. Bjugstad hasn't excelled despite the additions of Hudler & Purcell. And K. Hayes who had some sort of resurgence - lost it all when Staal arrived. Team in sig: it's basically G, A & +/-.

McGinn: will he keep the production up?
Pirri INJ: will he be paired with Perron & Getzlaf? + PP?
Perreault: will he perform in a depleted WPG?
Lehtera INJ: will he see any PP? and will he be reunited with Tarasenko & Schwartz?
Yakupov: EV with McDavid & Eberle but then only PP2.
Zucker: any chance of finding that early form?
Gardiner: although a D, not sure about the TOT offence and the +/- is an issue.

    Thanks!

I would go with Perreault over Hayes and keep Bjugstad.

    Thanks for the reply Rehdaun.

Running out of patience on Big Nick. I am torn between the potential of Bjugstad (with good linemates) and Hayes' ability to always be around scoring chances - albeit clumsy in capitalize on em'..

I also overlooked Tanguay who's available, if he is rejuvenated in ARI - he could be a sneaky add.

I would go with Perreault if I was in the running. If not then I would go with Yakupov.

Pirri for me...but I have no idea about his injury or how long he will be out.

Perreault is a close #2 for me

    That is interesting Goldendelicious.

I also think Pirri could rip it up on one of the top two lines and some PP time. It's been said mid March for his return but have also heard that he might be done for the regular season. Although every playoff team wants to tweak their lineups so that they are a well oiled machine come playoff - which could mean he might be back earlier.

Ankle sprains is hard to predict. Would love an update.

I haven't picked up Perreault yet because of his -3 over the last 3 games. That equals his league point total in that span to -3P since he has no G/A. Right now I'm holding off on picking up Perreault. Lehtera and Yakupov has been snatched but all the others remain - none has really impressed this week..

    Thanks Noddes.

I understand, and also thinks Perreault is the better player but I would argue that he is not in a great spot. Except for the PP1, which isn't what is was earlier in the season (WPG is now a rather shoddy team). The even strength stats is sadly depleting his value.

I realize that every league has its own settings and I, myself find it hard to take each leagues settings into consideration.

To put it into perspective: Perreault in his last 14 games has 1G/2A/-10 which translates into -3 fantasy points. Not to say he isn't capable of turning it around but in his current form, an injured player does more good than Perreault.

Keep Bjugstad for postseason, I am right there with you on the patience but injuries derailed the season, he will be a 30 goal center and if he finds the form late you'll hate yourself for dropping him. Kevin Hayes likes to play dipsy doodle out there and never shoots but he's another who could go off. I would drop Nichuskin he is too inconsistent and take a waiver on Nail.

    Thank you once again Luigi.

That's pretty much how I view Hayes (wiley wildcard) & Bjugstad (sleeper). Nichushkin has been in my doghouse but then picked it up of late while seeing PP2 time.

At this point I'm most definitely over thinking it. At the same time kinda satisfied with how none of the mentioned players have gone off the rail (with the exception of Tanguay: 5P in 3GP) - in return, poor scouting on my part.

Thanks everyone here for indulging me : )
