Well I just traded Mason to get Talbot. Talbot has decent numbers considering what's happening in front of him. My reasoning is that it can only get better.
I currently have Mason and he's my 4th goalie on the depth charts and figure this a good time to buy low on Talbot.
Im just looking forward to following years. Or is Mason the guy out of these 2 moving forward.

I don't have a lot of faith in the team in front of Talbot, but he is the unquestioned starter. Plus the Oilers have to get better (although we've been saying that for years). Neuvirth is also signed for next season, so he could force his way into more starts. Sure, I'd say go for Talbot over Mason in a keeper.

Talbot is the only starting goalie of the two at this point, making it a no-brainer for me.

That's a tough choice, but I think Talbot is the better goalie at this point, even though the team in front of him is apparently allergic to winning.
