Good chance - he doesn't want to move his family, his sister lives in Vancouver, his parents and other sister live in Smithers, he is part owner of the PG Cougars.
Actually heard a rumor in town that retirement was an option if he didn't resign in Vancouver.

Yeah but Franson's not from Toronto.
I could definitely see Hamhuis returning, he has roots in BC, but he may be looking to try to maximize on what could be his last contract of his career. Not sure the Canucks will be able to oblige.
