For ROS of the year only, who makes a better 3rd goalie?

Hellebuyck just got sent down to the AHL, so Pavelec probably regains at least a 50/50 split with Hutchinson, and very likely more than that.

Mike Smith is still out for at least another couple of weeks, but the question is what the Coyotes do with him when Smith comes back. I suspect they'll try to keep him up and waive Lindback with the intent to send him down, but there's a strong chance they'll just send him back and wait for next yer to give him a full time gig.

Given that, I'd probably go with Pavelec. With no Hellebuyck in the picture, he'll at least get some starts.

Domingue. Pavelec is 28 and has never established himself it will not suddenly manifest now. Domingue has been serviceable, 5 years younger....last night against CGY he was great.

I can say that I *don't feel all that confident that Hell-boy will stay in the minors for the rest of the season.
