An overpayment? Sure. But Tarasenko isn't going anywhere without paying a price. You can always wait until Tank slumps a bit (right now), but even the dimmest of GMs is probably going to want a huge deal to swap the Blues young sniper.

So an overpayment or not, would you make that deal to acquire Tarasenko? I have Karlsson, Carlson and Byfuglien as my keeper D right now so I'm dealing from where I have the most assets.

I have Kessel in my league, and I feel like he has no value until he goes on a big run and shows he isn't done. If your league has PIMs I feel like he would want Byf+Kessel.
I am in a similar situation. I want Tarasenko but my buddy wants Simmonds and Byfuglien in return. I think Byfuglien is pretty similar value to Tarasenko.
