Re: Who is your prized waiver wire pick up this season?
For me, it's Andre Burakovsky.
In my 16-team keeper league (see sig.), most good players are already selected, either on a current roster or in the minors. In our league, a ''prospect, minor leaguer or farm-team player'' is one that has not surpassed 80 total games played. We have 4 drafts during the season to add a Free Agent player. During our last draft right after the Holidays, the Burakovsky owner had forgot to add him to his roster after he played his 80th game (was at 81). Since Burakovsky started slow this year, he flew under most of the managers' radars as many did not know his total games played and just assumed he was still the property of his old manager when the draft came up.
Let's just say that I am more that psyched that I got a hold of this guy before he started lighting it up. His old manager on the other hand... not so happy
