As much as I like how the Ghost is killling it for one of my fantasy teams, I still think there's a shade more upside with Ekblad. Maybe Ghost this season because of the pace he's on, but Ekblad for the future.
Points only keeper. Which of the two do you prefer, now and as a keeper? I have Ghost, and am considering flipping him for Ekblad. Help!

In the real world, I'd take Ekblad as he can play in all situations and doesn't require sheltering, however, fantasy hockey is NOT the real world. All you care about is goals and assists. This guy is on a bigger tear than Klingberg last year. He has world class offensive ability, in a points only keeper, I want Ghost.
I see Ekblad as a 45-50pt Dman reaching into mid-high 50's in his best seasons. I see Ghost annually between 60-70pts most seasons.

Fantasy hockey this is Ghost and hey i am the biggest Ekblad homer there is.
Commish of UNFFHL, dangered species being the sole Panthers fan on Dobber.
I think Ekblad is a better real life defender but Ghost would be better for fantasy
Ghost. Its points only

Sheltered minutes or not in fantasy hockey points rule the day. That said, Ghostibehere is the easy choice. 60+ points per season from here on out if healthy.

Points only appears to go to Ghost. But what additional cats need to be added to balance or maybe tip the scales back towards Ekblad? +/-, Pims, PPP, GWG? Or does Ghost still edge Ekblad with those additional cats?
I own Ghost in a points only. I wouldn't trade him for Ekblad

In a keeper I'm still taking Ekblad. I think he has more upside and Ghost seems like an boom or bust prospect. Ekblad growing every year and I think it wrong to peg him as a 40 point dman he could be much more. In points only it is close, but I am still taking Ekblad over Ghost, in Roto I think Ekblad much better as well.
