He's currently ranked 133 in yahoo and does not have a contract. I have a draft coming up on Monday, and I'm wondering if there's a consensus that he would end up in the top 100 value-wise once he gets signed?
Looking for a good value pick for SS.

He has 20/20 upside but was brutal last season. Strikes out a ton, tends to get behind in the count a lot. Terrible defensively. Even if he does bounce back, he's not going to hit over .250. So no, definitely not consensus top 100 value but a worthy late round gamble given the scarcity at the SS position.

He’ll be top 8 at SS this yr. But he won’t be top 100 in the league. Only way he holds value is his 20Hr/20Sb potential, but will kill you at the Avg cat. I rather a Lindor, Kang, or Reyes kind of player for that slot (with ADP taken into account). Going a bit earlier and getting Tulo (lots of runs) would be a better idea I think right now.

But then Tulo will get hurt, but Goins would step in.

I think Desmond is definitely worth a pick. I can't see him in the top 100 but the top 150 is a possibility. He had an awful year last year, and depending on where he goes could see a nice bounce back.
