If he's not traded by training camp, does he have a chance of making the under 23 squad at the championships in September?

Wouldn't be surprised. If Yzerman doesn't find a deal he is 100% happy with in the next couple of days then he will let it wait until the offseason. Might be easier to make a deal closer to the draft when everybody knows where their picks slot in. As a Drouin owner I would prefer him to be traded sooner rather than later.... but I would rather wait to see him go to an ideal situation in the offseason than see him go to the Nucks now.
He will be traded at the draft and get a second or two
I think Yzerman should trade Drouin to Wpg. Good Fit for Drouin - send him to the warm prairies - Jets have assets to do deal - Trouba?

I can promise you Yzerman isn't going to do Drouin any favours dealing him where will be a good fit for him (nor should he). If he wants to wait it out he should.
Would Drouin report back to the AHL if he isn't dealt at the deadline?

I am hearing that @TBLightning have 5 offers that they are mulling over and intend to make a decision tomorrow on Jonathan Drouin. #lottery

Please let Montreal be one of those 5 teams.
PLEASE
I expect we're well past any considerations of that sort. Yzerman will take the best deal that he can get for Drouin at this point.
Drouin's trade value can only continue to diminish the longer this situation continues and I expect Yzerman knows this. Plus, this situation has to be pretty uncomfortable for Yzerman and the organization in general, and I would guess that he's eager to be done with it.
RETIRED
I'll repeat.
If Drouin isn't traded by tge deadline and Stamkos is kept on the team that is very very bad asset management.
My pick: Anaheim.
