Maybe the original author traded him in his fantasy pool that day. So in a way, he was right.

Umm, 50 cm so far in Ottawa today.
I find it funny that Drouin isn't playing anywhere right now. I'm pretty sure it's not helping his development, unless he's studying the way players with a defensive conscience play the game while he's off sulking. I'm sure someone will trade for him, but sitting out can't help his cause. Go down to the AHL, play pissed off and light it up. Be a pro.

Lightning GM Steve Yzerman would prefer to move Jonathan Drouin prior to Monday's trade deadline.
"I definitely prefer to deal him sooner than later, it would be better for everyone," Yzerman said Wednesday. "A lot of things factor into it when making the trade, a lot of things to consider here. But number one is, 'Can I do something involving Jonathan that benefits the team that makes us better right now that helps us for the playoffs? I'd certainly like to do that." He would like to help Tampa Bay's power play in the deal if he can and a top-four defenseman is believed to be on the team's wanted list. Drouin remains suspended so he has been waiting at home in Montreal for a deal to another club.
