    Default trade tarasenko (REP)

so i'm gunning for 1st place in my pts-only pool, limited keep 7F, icing 12 forwards weekly. team 1 in sig below.

    i've been offered the following:

    i get:

    tyler johnson
    dylan larkin
    cam atkinson

    for my:

    vladimir tarasenko

now, in theory, johnson slots in for tarasenko, larkin for a struggling craig smith, and atkinson for purcell in my lineup... should i agree to the deal or walk away considering i am giving up the most valuable asset in the deal?

any help would be greatly appreciated and be awarded REP for the forums.

    thanks guys!

Its a ok offer But as a owner of Tarasenko I would not trade him for them..I still think Tarasenko as another level that Johnson dont have
Craig Smith is not going to struggle for the next 60 games... he should/will finish around the same points than Larkin
    Cam Atkinson is easily replacable....

I wouldn't take that. That doesn't seem like nearly enough to get Tarasenko. I wouldn't trade him unless the guy offered a huge package

I would walk away, I understand going for quantity over quality but Tank is already a top 20 asset and arguments could be made for top 10. I'd want at least one very high end piece and Johnson isn't at that level in my eyes.

Pass. I still don't think we've seen the best from Tank, while I do think TJ wont do much more than he's already shown. Larkin is a good prospect but I'm not getting too wrapped up with what he's done so far.... When he was drafted he was looked at as a potential two-way 2C. He's looking like he could exceed that expectation but he hasn't proved anything yet.

It's basically TJ and Larkin for Tank. That doesnt get me excited from the Tank side.

In a keep 7 you'd need to be getting 2 quality keepers and I don't think Larkin is there yet. I traded for Tank in my league a few weeks ago and had to give up TJ + Letang + Lehtonen. I think that's the type of deal you should be looking for: 1 player who is a hair below Tank but an excellent keeper, another very very good keeper and another piece or two that will help you this year. I'd almost never trade the best player in a keep 7.

I might have considered this at the beginning of the season, but Johnson seems to have slowed somewhat compared to last season whereas Tank appears poised to keep on keepin' on.

I think I'd also need to see more of Larkin.

TJ/Larkin+ I'd see what else he's got instead of Atkinson..
