My biggest concern is wait time. Getting through college, then rising up the AHL ranks... it could take a few years. He's a guy to watch though.
What you guys think of him? What's he's upside? How lomg before he reach the NHL?

Excited to see him at the WJC. Clearly he can score, but I'd like to see the rest of his game. Worth noting he switched from forward to defence in his draft year, so his positioning may not be as sharp as some others, which could delay him a bit from getting to the NHL.
IIHF ruled him ineligible to play for the US.

TSN reported that he is one to watch if he plays in the WJC, that he could be a difference maker already.

Wonder if he has much of a shot? Surely you would think he does considering how well he is doing in the collage ranks.
From the reports I've read, Walman has some wheels and an incredible shot. Most of his goals have been scored on point shots. Not the best defensive D but he is solid in his own zone.

He actually played defence growing up. Switched to forward at bantam when he was with the Red Wings and moved back in Midget.

Tough one.. I heard he was injured today on TSN radio..

Angus is my best friend at dobberhockey..
Any chance he cracks the Blues roster out of next years training camp?
There's always "a chance" but considering the Blues still have six NHL Dmen signed next year, it will be tough.
Also, considering he's still in college and doesn't even have a contract yet, there's no guarantee he is even in their plans for next year.
At the end of the day, if they have a spot for him and he's good enough then there's always a chance. If I had to guess, I'd say the odds are not in his favor but it's always possible.

"Cleavage is like the sun. You can look, but dont stare.. Unless you're wearing sunglasses."
Would you target him in a money keeper, all points, 15 manager, 24 player roster, top 12 forwards count towards points, top 4 defense count towards points. Worth the wait basically sitting on my bench?
My defense is in need of rebuild. I have McDonagh, Savard, Larsson, MDZ.
No, I wouldn't. He could be three years away for all we know and we don't even know how he will do once he gets there. Dmen usually take longer to develop and it's rare they come into the league with blazing guns. I won't say it's never happened, but it's extremely rare.
