As a Flames fan I hope he recovers fully and this doesn't hamper him longer term. You never want to see injuries derail promising careers, even if he plays for Edmonton.

The good thing about broken clavicles is that they don't generally turn into chronic issues. They aren't like groin issues or high ankle sprains or concussions. Yes, it sucks that he is going to be out for a while, but once he is fully healed, I doubt he has anymore issues with it.

If McDavid doesn’t win the Calder now, whoever does will get the, “well McDavid was hurt that yr” line.
I had an unnerving feeling he’d smash hard into the boards eventually. He was toeing the danger line with his speed. At least it’s not a knee injury I was jokingly telling the McDavid owner all yr. “He’ll blow out his knee and be done for, don’t draft him and let me worry about that issue”

I am actually flying out to Alberta later today for the first time in my life to go to the Calgary game tomorrow and the Edmonton game on Friday. With McDavid on the team and this the final year at the old rink, I decided I was finally going to watch my team play live in their own arena.

I doubt they split up the Hall RNH draisatl line. They are cooking quite nicely.
Head to Head League: 1 point for G, 1 point for A. 2 for Goalie win, 3 for SO.
Start 6 guys every week. 3 O, 2 D and 1G. No substitutions once they are in (before the first game starts on Monday).
Protect 3 players every year in keeper.
