Looking to see if I can get McDavid and Ekblad for him...good or no?
Or if not Malkin.....what would it take to get McDavid and Ekblad from this team, he will be in the basement for a long time.

No way Malkin would be enough to get McDavid and Ekblad. It would take a lot to get both of them

That's a keeper league? I would be offended by that trade offer if you sent it to me. Malkin for McD alone would probably not be enough...

Think about his interests as well as yours.. Why would he part with an elite forward and a great young D man for the aging Malkin if he is going to be in the basement for a long time?!

Also, although with this offer it is not relevant, the number of keepers each year would help assess the value (for your future posts).

That won't be enough. If you really want to pry McDavid + Ekblad away from a rebuilding team, you'd need to offer something like Tarasenko + Klingberg, and he/she may even balk at that.

Malkin Strome Bishop would get me listening....but even then, likely not.........i wouldn't be interested in Ekblad....try a 3 for 1

The problem is Malkin's injury history. If he were 5 years younger and didn't get injured all the time, Malkin + Klingberg would get the deal done for me. But unfortunately Geno is a busted knee waiting to happen. That's why you'd have to add more. Maybe Malkin + Klingberg + Strome and sell him on the whole "he's playing with Tavares" thing.
