Well this sucks, hopefully nothing serious.
I / St. Louis already lost Statsny.
Left today's practice early with a lower-body injury:
Schwartz is now being helped off the ice by trainer Ray Barile and assistant Kirk Muller, favoring his leg.

Schwartz just took a nasty spill on the ice, putting no weight on his left leg. Threw left glove off. Needs help off the ice. #stlblues

Adjust your lineups accordingly. As per rotoworld.....
Jaden Schwartz will be gone for at least 12 weeks after undergoing ankle surgery.
Schwartz was carried off the ice in practice Friday after crashing into the goal post and it was determined that surgery was required to fix his fractured ankle. Schwartz was struggling this season as he was without a goal in seven games but he managed 63 points last season in 75 games including 28 goals. He is worth looking at in dynasty pools but loses most of his fantasy value this season. Oct 24 - 9:59 AM
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
Well, this obviously sucks big time for Schwartz owners but if there is anything positive to take away it's perhaps that in salary cap keeper leagues, he probably won't get as much as had he played a full season.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Shattenkirk, Stastny and now Schwartz....someone get Steen into a protective bubble!! The rampage on the S is out of control!

Schwartz finally skating with teammates.
Possibly back after All-Star Break. In some leagues, he might be forgotten to the waiver wire - worth a check.

[The amount of time missed also means he'll be WAY down the Yahoo! draft board next season, which is built primarily using some averaging of full stats over last 2-3 seasons. Sometimes the manual help with Yahoo! rankings catches this stuff and shifts him up the O-Rank list... sometimes not. A player worth keeping track of thought.]
When this thread was bumped my initial thought was he suffered ANOTHER practice injury...

W00t, picked him up a 2 weeks ago in anticipation of this.
Recent news:
Jaden Schwartz (ankle) isn't expected to return in St. Louis' first game back after the All-Star break, but he may get his first full practice.
"You don't really look at a player until he's a full participant in practice," coach Ken Hitchcock said. "So we're not even sure if we're there yet until we start back up on Monday. So we don't really know the timeline yet." Schwartz hopes to return soon after the break and be an impact player for the Blues down the stretch.
