Berra?

Looking pretty tempting after his last 2 starts with Varlamov struggling a bit more than he is.

Is he worth a pick up? I don't have a 3rd goalie and Couture is now on IR, so I could just fill the empty spot. I'm trying to trade for Luongo to be my 3rd goalie though, but if we think Berra will start stealing starts, then that might be a better option.

If it's a free add that you can drop in a few days if you need, then there's no harm in making the move. Only 2 games this week for Colorado, I'd expect him to get one of them with his recent performances.

I don't think Berra is going to take a lot of starts from Varlamov. Varlamov has shown that he can carry the Avs

Thx for the input guys. Picked him up just in case/as a chip in for a trade. I have 3 pickups per week so it didn't hurt to burn one on the hot goalie.

Good move. No risk, maybe he runs with it for a few while Varly is extracting his head from his own ass. Best case, Varly shits the crease again in his next start and you can peddle Berra to the increasingly nervous Varly owner for something decent.

Good move as a short-term addition. I don't see him as anything more than that.
