Wins, S/O, SV%, potentially adding GAA next year.
My goalies are in my signature, so it's for my Farm Team. I have Anderson, so the Gibson handcuff is great, but thinking (Barring injury) that based on what Anaheim has done this off season that Gibson is in the minors for the year and I'm not nearly as worried about him as last year when I drafted them both.
Who do you rather have for 2-3 years out?
Bishop has 2 years on his contract. Anderson is going to need a new one after this year, which could establish what Gibson's mid-term role with the team is (if Anderson gets #1 type money). TB is going to be a cap hurting team in 2 years, so might need to let Bishop go and role with Vasil...
Any thoughts are appreciated.

I would much prefer Vas. He looks way more poised to push Bishop this year and I could see him taking over next Summer when they need the cap room.

Ya, there are lots of threads on this very topic the past year. Do a search and you will find them with lots of varying opinions.
My preference is Vasilevskiy.
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League
25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt
Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

I prefer Vasilevsky but its nice having both of them : )
[I]12 Team Salary Cap Keeper:
Fowards: Points Only
Defenseman: Points & .1 points for hits and BS
Goalies: 2 pts for win & 3 pts for shutout.
Vasilevski appears to be an elite goalie. I think he'll be one of the best in the game.
10 Team keeper league
(9F, 4D, 2G, 4 bench, 2 IR)
H2H
Goals-1, Assists-1, PPP-0.5, SHG=1, Hits-0.05, BS-0.05, Shots-0.05, Wins-2, Shutouts-2, Saves 0.01, Defenseman Pts-0.5
Keep 6 (potentially 7 with a vote pending)
2012/2013: 4th in reg season, 2nd in playoffs
2013/2014: 1st (t) reg season, 4th in playoffs
2014/2015: 1st reg season, 4th in playoffs
2015/2016 7th reg season (third highest PF)
Crosby, Malkin, Laine, Getzlaf, Radulov, Arvidsson, Rantanen, Bailey, W. Karlsson, Ducehene,Haula,
Klingberg, Suter, Trouba, Ekblad, Provorov
Holtby, Talbot, Varlamov
Vas is the better option short term (1-2 years) after that, Gibson will shine
Vasilevski for me by a hair.
Points only keeper league
7 teams
28 keepers
Weekly line up: 12 F / 6 D / 2 G
Goalie stats: W=2 / SO=2
I'm going to go with Gibson (ANA).
I think the forums are pushing the Vas-hype-train a bit too hard, caught up in the success of what seems to be everybody of youth in a TB jersey.
While we are talking about cap-crunches...
ANA is a team with an internal salary cap.
With Gibson buried in the minors, the one thing ANA can do is get him on an RFA contract with a low number.
Andersen is a maybe, depends how he performs this year.
It's a win-win or lose-lose for ANA... depends on how you see it.
If ANA does great, perhaps Andersen wants $6m (Holtby-ish cash) - do they keep him?
If ANA does poorly, perhaps Andersen signs lower - but does that mean they give Gibson a shot?
Is this a win-win or lose-lose for Andersen & ANA?
The one thing I think is clear... is that Gibson is the surer bet to be on the ANA squad next year, because he doesn't have any NHL success to justify a huge RFA contract.
I like Vas too... but Yzerman's success as an NHL player came largely playing on veteran teams... with... veteran goalies (Vernon, Hasek, older-Osgood).
I'd be surprised to see him hand over the reigns to the young goalie (unless Bishop completely shits the bed this year and still wants $6m+).

Goalies are kind of a crap-shoot to begin with, so I'll say Vas since I like his situation a lot better than Gibson's and I like what I've seen of him so far at the NHL level. Vas seems pretty poised for a shot to take over the starting role if Bishop gets injured or underperforms or eventually when his contract runs out. None of which I would be surprised at. Yzerman seems like a smart GM more than anything and whether he's smart or not, the reality is that it's a cap league and veteran contracts have to be replaced with ELC and RFA contracts at some point.
I would go with Gibson personally. I think he'll have a better chance with ANA to catch a break. Both are pretty fine goalies though.
so no one is concerned with the addition of khudo, or is he just seen as a "this year" stanley cup insurance policy?
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
