Cam Talbot - 4th overall?

Anyway, my goaltending is Halak/Anderson/Elliott/Stalock and I want to be more secure. So I acquired this pick for the above. The draft will go like this:

1. McDavid (duh)
2. Eichel (duh)
3. Strome or Marner?
4. My pick. I plan to take Talbot.

What do you think? 30 wins? Plus a future on a winning team? Or the next Scrivens?

Goalie pickings are incredibly slim. The only goalies that will be taken at the draft will be Talbot, Hammond, Murray and then maybe Darling or Samsonov

With those goalies, and their long-term health situations, I can see why you would want another goalie. But why choose an unsure thing? Is there any chance you can now trade that fourth overall and a goalie for a better netminder? Ie- Can Halak and fourth net you Bishop, for example?

I would've kept Sekera.
But, now... I'd take Klingberg.

Talbot...
Meh. If he does really well, he's UFA... he may end up signing elsewhere.
If he does crap, he's UFA... he signs as a back-up somewhere.

I realize goalies are hard to get... but Sekera(EDM) or Klingberg(DAL) patrolling likely a 4F:1D super-PP... yes, please.
