Goalie Keeper Question: Craig Anderson or Anti Niemi?

This is what sucks about Anderson and this is why I feel some tend to avoid him;His stats don't tell the whole picture.

He may have a bad statistical year, but carries his team on his back or have good stats but people just remember him chocking during a certain stretch. Guys like Quick, Bobrovsky or even Rask tend to have a better reputation amongst managers even though Anderson outplays them during given seasons.

Although I still think he should not be part of the top-10, I feel he has a harder time proving his value in fantasy leagues than most.

hes just underrated especially playing on a small market team. He was drafted twice so people don't expect much. He has been a very good goalie more often than not. I expect him to outperform Rask who will for sure be drafted over him.

Ev, you probably know more about him than most but are his struggles entirely related to his mental game? I know goalies think a lot and confidence and emotions are key in the success of this position but Anderson is a notch above that in regards to the cerebral game from what I've heard.

Is that why he can pull off an amazing stretch followed by several poor outings?
