Alright so this one was actually drawn as the Victoria Royals, but frankly I'm not a fan of recreating established logos and franchises. Fortunately Loch posted later in the thread his other team which is a bit more racy.

Victoria Dead Hookers

I went simplistic, wanted an old school logo mentality. The Quebec Nordiques logo had a huge inspiration obviously to this one, right down to the usage of the colours.

The logo is a stiletto, the red in the stiletto forms a hockey stick. The black circle, which would be the part you put your foot into the stiletto, conveniently forms a hockey puck. You will also notice a couple of blood drips at the top to symbolize how dead this hooker probably is.

I tried for the life of me to create an upside down stiletto to form the letter "V" for Victoria, however the shoe just didn't fit.(terrible use of words yes?). So to put my mind at ease, I went with the Rangers style jersey to spell out the name of the city and use two stilettos at the beginning and the end, that so happened to form the "V" and "A" in Victoria. What luck!!

The colours were chosen based on the city of Victoria's flag, which is a baby blue and has a blood red shield guarded by two female angels.

Overall the simplistic design makes this one surprisingly eye catching, and somehow brings some class to a not so classy occupation.

Incidentally, I had no idea about the coat of arms stuff with Victoria/colours etc., so I've learned something today.

Dead Hookers is my favourite logo in the entire WHL!
Just passed the Pietasters!!! Oh my!!!

Honestly, the Nord colours with the clever name is sooooooo good.

This is a 10/10.
Or an 11/10 on my Spinal Tap scale!



Seriously... the number of things in this logo that are so amazing:
1. The heel lift perfectly creates the door in the nordique igloo.
2. The puck atop the stick doubles as a perfect shabby-chique heel jewel topper.
3. The blood drip accentuating the death.
4. And the larger team logo with the heel above... is that a cross?!... in a puddle of rain.

I can just see those hookers outside working-it for a few bucks in the rain when the shady-cop has to come gun her down because she knows something from a night ago!

A-MAY-ZING!

(I can't tell you how long I've been holding my breath on commenting on this logo on the WHL site!!! )

Really liked the Fighting Turtles logo, and admit that the Hookers was probably a tough one to elaborate on much without getting censored by DobberHockey. Hahahaha.

With two selections left, I think, I hope my team gets selected. Everything you have done so far has been superb.

haha, I never really took the censorship into consideration, would have been something if Loch had to block his own team logo from the site! ...and then ban me.
