Thanks Axe, I was going to search for it soon!

No big surprises, though Crouse could be a few spots later IMO.

My darkhorse in there is Zacha (he doesn,t fly under many radars, but he is not getting as much praise as other notables). I think he will be a really good NHLer!

There's always the high rising swede. Eriksson Ek looks to be that guy. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go very early

    Lol Lawson Crouse at 4.

Meier at #14 ahead of Schevnikov is laughable also to anyone who watch some Q hockey this season. If Schevnikov was name Adam Jones, he would be a top10 pick IMO.

Agreed, they have always been high on Crouse. He's not going to be bad by any means, but I think #4 is too high.... and Svech is a top 10 talent AND Meier is too low.

Yeah just like how Yakupov and galchenyuk slipped because they had Russian names

All drafted out of the Khl so it's completely different . If you're a Russian in the chl you will pretty much be drafted where you should be. Unless you're in the q. So of this guy doesn't end up a top pen pick then it had nothing to do with his nationality

I'd be shocked if Provorov was gone at 7. I think he'd be perfect for the Flyers. Any of the big 3 on D is just what the doctor ordered for the Flyers, if I was a Flyers fan I'd be ecstatic to land any of Hanifin,Provorov or Werenski.

I believe the "Russian factor" hurt Kucherov's ranking. I'm sure there's a boat load of teams kicking themselves for passing on him right now.

I said it did hurt him because he was drafted out of the KHL. Maybe he gets into the first round or close to it if he was in the chl. I wouldn't have touched KHLers then, but maybe now with the league weakening I would.

You seriously think that teams do not back away from players from Russia even though they play in the CHL? Best example last year is Scherbak. He had better numbers than Virtanen and Bleackley yet he dropped.

Namestnikov dropped in his draft years because of his nationality, same thing with Khokhlachev.

Fair point. If Yakupov was KHL and not CHL, I believe he would not have went 1st - there would be too much worry IMO. So I agree with you.
