holtby offer

For the team in my signature. Just had an offer to obtain holtby from another team. The ask is dubnyk and yandle. As I'm not keeping dubnyk I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the deal. What do you think is this an underpayment, overpay, about right? Would you try and get some picks my way. I think I get the best player in the deal.

I'd do it. You already have two good keeper dmen in Barrie and Ekblad. I see you have Dman points but 2/7 keepers committed to Dmen is already quite a lot. Holtby is a stud, if you prefer him over Dubnyk then there's really not much of a loss here as you can only keep 7 so might as well pay the asking price.

In that situation, hell yeah. So your keeper would be Holtby instead of Yandle. Sounds good to me.

If you aren't planning on keeping Dubnyk then I'm looking at this as Yandle for Holtby. I'd do that trade, Holtby would be your number 1 goalie IMO.

Absolutely. I think Holtby's gonna be a top 3 G next season, grab him now while the price is still (very) affordable for you.

Yandle will not get the ice time he had in Arizona. While he could still post good numbers, his shots should be down and will quite likely be other options from the D position you can draft to backfill the stats from Yandle.
