The Finals: 2 Many 2 Gamers?
Yesterday I dropped Brian Elliott for Tom Wilson as I was in danger of losing the PIM stat and the matchup last week. I was 4 PIMs ahead and yes, my opponent got 4 PIMs yesterday. Luckily, Wilson took a 2 minute minor and saved the day. That is, until Hornqvist took a high-sticking double minor last night. So in the end the Wilson pickup wasn't needed. I dropped him this morning to pick up Ryan O'Reilly.
Now here's my pickle. I have 3 players who only play 2 games this week: Perry, Ladd & Okposo. We start 6 forwards daily. If I don't start Okposo or Ladd on Saturday that means I'd only get 1 start out of them (I could start Benn, Bergeron, Landeskog, Johansen, Horqvist & Hall as my 6 on Saturday).
I could get 3 starts out of most of the 4 start forwards on the list or 4 starts out of the 4 start defensemen.
Also, I could think about streaming Vasilievsky if he plays tomorrow against Toronto, picking Elliott back up on the 1st, streaming Mrazek, Talbot or Stalock.
I have 2 more moves I can make this week. What do you guys think?
