Talk to your commissioner, there is an option to put any red-flagged player on the IR. That way you don't need to wait for the NHL teams and get screwed in the meantime.

To keep the IR from getting abused as a place to stash players a time limit can be added for when a player gets activated. Ours is at one week, at least that way a GM has time to make a trade or whatever they need to do to reactivate the player.

Just a thought.

It's in our constitution that IR is at the sole discretion of Fantrax. That's why I went after them. Haha.
