Grabbing an injured Byfuglien for a deep run????

Buf was just dropped. I have a bye week for our 1st round next week and could probably afford to grab Buf in hopes he makes a return closer to the 2 week mark. Worse case at the end of next week if there's no word I can just drop him. Anyone have any info on the injury and its severity?

Edit: No IR+ slot

i dont think anyone will know the severity, i think itll be more pain tolerance more than anything else. i think buff will come back early though and play through it, they need him to make the playoffs.

I see no harm in doing that. I think he comes back closer to 2 weeks than the 4 week mark, but couldn’t you just stash him on your bench even for round 3 if it looks like you are going to win come Wednesday night? And then if it looks like you’re close in a cat/points, drop him for someone.

hes worth a WW pick up beyond doubt....then just re-asses when your bye week ends.

if you have an IR+ spot hes more worth it. keep in mind winnipeg only plays 2 games in the week of march 30 - april 5.

That's what I figure, what's the worst thing? If I need to dump him early into my round 2 week so be it. I updated the original post, we don't have an IR+ slot, which is why he was dropped and why I fighting the urge to drop MacK (I have another post regarding that one).
