Cause Chip Kelly was trying to give Matthews agent draft picks and the Eagles Logo rights. Agent is still trying to tell Chip Kelly that his client is a free agent and can’t do anything with draft picks. Chip Kelly has reportedly gave Matthews a counter offer; Chip Kelly’s first name, the 43yrd line hash mark, and stack of McDonald’s coupons.

Bless him, I say. He's upped the interest quotient significantly and has kept it going for a few days too!

From where I sit as an armchair quarterback, I have to say that I don't agree with a lot of the moves that he's made here. But I do admire that he's just marching to his own drum and, presumably, continuing to do what he thinks gives his organization the best chance to win despite the incredible flak that he's taking from the media, fans and casual observers alike. Will be really interesting to see how this plays out next season!

FINALLY the skins get a corner. “Know what this team needs? WR”, “Oh know what this team needs this yr? WR!!!”, “Ok, I know we again had a losing season, but I think I got the answer. More WR”.

Our coverage has sucked for like 5yrs straight. The hole Taylor left in the back hasn’t been fixed since. I was seriously hoping for Maxwell, Revis, or Cromartie to sign with the skins, and then Culliver as well.

Curious to see the splits between McFad and Randle...???

Randle can follow tackles pretty easily and is good. He just doesn’t have that thing to push him to a starter in my eyes, more of a change of pace. Like he doesn’t have the right size to be a downhill runner, he’s not quick enough to bounce outside, he’s not fast enough to beat people with speed, and he’s not strong enough to consistently break tackles. He’s got average across the board.

But with the big dog leaving, and Injury DMC into town, maybe this is his chance to show us he’s got better attributes than what I personally think. Funny tho, “Ourlads” website has Lance Dunbar as the RB1 right now. Rotoworld has it DMC, Randle, then Dunbar.
